ABINGEM-1gm (Gemcitabine Powder for Solution for Infusion 1g) contains gemcitabine hydrochloride, equivalent to 1 g gemcitabine.
Indications:
- Bladder Cancer: Treatment of locally advanced or metastatic bladder cancer in combination with cisplatin.
- Pancreatic Cancer: Treatment of locally advanced or metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas.
- Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): First-line treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC in combination with cisplatin.
- Ovarian Cancer: Treatment of locally advanced or metastatic epithelial ovarian carcinoma in combination with carboplatin in patients with relapsed disease.
- Breast Cancer: Treatment of unresectable, locally recurrent, or metastatic breast cancer in combination with paclitaxel in patients experiencing a relapse after adjuvant/neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
- Dosage: The recommended dose for gemcitabine is 1000 mg/m², given as a 30-minute infusion. The dose should be given on days 1, 8, and 15 of each 28-day cycle in combination with cisplatin.
- Administration: Administer by intravenous infusion following reconstitution. Only healthcare professionals with appropriate training should administer this medication.
